SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Tuesday Network Ratings Scorecard: 9.9.2014

Time for the Utopia?  More like Dystopia! gag.

Daily Comp 3way 2014 TUE Sep 9

FOX:  UTOPIA crashed by more than half from its preview airing on Sunday night, down to 0.9 against mostly weak summer competition.  To say this bodes badly for the new series once the real competition (NCIS, The Voice) arrives is an understatement.  A special MOTEL HELL held its lead-in at 0.9.

CBS:   A special BIG BROTHER dominated the night at 2.3.  The FASHION ROCKS special that followed, though, lost almost three-quarters of its lead-in at 0.6.

NBC:  FOOD FIGHTERS was down 0.1 from last week at 1.0 and AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was up 0.1 at 1.9.

ABC:  The 2-hour EXTREME WEIGHT LOSS season finale was up 0.1 from last week at 1.0, the same as the SHARK TANK rerun that followed.

CW:  Reruns at 0.2/0.2.

A scheduled presidential address at 9PM eastern time will wreak some havoc on tonight’s primetime schedule.  All the networks feature fresh programming except ABC.
