SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.9.2019

 

A solid start for SCHOOLED.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  The line-up aired for the first time since December 12, with some changes.  After THE GOLDBERGS returned with an 0.2 bump to 1.3, its spin-off SCHOOLED debuted with a 100% hold of its lead-in.  MODERN FAMILY (1.3) and SINGLE PARENTS (0.8) were each down 0.1, and then MATCH GAME was at 0.6.

FOX:  24 HOURS TO HELL & BACK slipped 0.1 to 1.1.  THE MASKED SINGER was down a big 0.7 from last week’s premiere, but these days 2.3 is still a very big hit.

NBC:  Airing for the first time since December 5, CHICAGO MED and CHICAGO FIRE were each up 0.1 to 1.3, while CHICAGO PD was down 0.1 to 1.0.

CBS:  Following sitcom reruns at 1.0/0.9, SEAL TEAM held at 0.8, and CRIMINAL MINDS was up 0.1 to 0.8.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

Tonight, CBS launches its new sitcom FAM after MOM.  In addition, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE makes its NBC debut, with THE GOOD PLACE as its lead-out.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
