ABC: On a night of premieres, THE GOLDBERGS returned at 0.8 (down 0.2 from the 2019 premiere), THE CONNERS returned at 0.9 (down 0.4 from 2019), and the timeslot premiere of BLACK-ISH was at 0.6 (down 0.2 from last year). THE CON rose 0.2 to 0.5.
CBS: BIG BROTHER at 0.9 and THE AMAZING RACE at 0.6 were both down 0.1 from last week. A rerun of SWAT was at 0.3.
NBC: THE WALL was at 0.6, and AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR was at 0.4.
FOX: The preliminary 1.8 for Game 2 of the WORLD SERIES was down 1.1 from 2019’s Game 2, and as noted above should rise to around 2.2-2.3 in finals.
CW: DEVILS (0.1) and CORONER (0.1) were steady.
Tonight, America will settle in for the second and final PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
