SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3.10.2021

 

THE MASKED SINGER was back on top.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After sitcom reruns at 0.5/0.4/0.3/0.3, THE CON dropped 0.1 to 0.2.

CBS:  TOUGH AS NAILS held at 0.4, while both SEAL TEAM (0.4) and SWAT (0.3) were down 0.1.

NBC:  With the first new episodes since February 17, CHICAGO MED gained 0.1 to 1.0, and both CHICAGO FIRE (0.9) and CHICAGO PD (0.8) were steady.

FOX:  The midseason premiere of THE MASKED SINGER was at 1.2, down 0.2 from last fall’s premiere.  GAME OF TALENTS premiered at 0.7, down 0.4 from SINGER’s fall lead-out I CAN SEE YOUR VOICE.

CW:  Returning from reruns, RIVERDALE (0.1) and NANCY DREW (0.1) were steady.

Note that tonight’s primetime will be disrupted by an 8PM ET Presidential address.  The midseason premieres of ABC’s GREY’S ANATOMY, STATION 19 and A MILLION LITTLE THINGS will begin after the speech and extend past 11PM ET. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available with the broadcast finals.
