SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 3.6.2019

An off-night AMERICAN IDOL couldn’t dislodge SURVIVOR.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  An AMERICAN IDOL special was at 1.4, down 0.3 from Sunday’s premiere.  The lead-in did help WHISKEY CAVALIER, up 0.2 to 0.9.

CBS:  SURVIVOR was steady at 1.5, and a 2-hour THE WORLD’S BEST was up 0.2 from last week’s installment to 0.6.

FOX:  The 2-hour 24 HOURS TO HELL & BACK season finale dropped 0.3 from its previous episode 2 weeks ago (when it was the lead-in to THE MASKED SINGER) to 0.8.

CW:  The death of Luke Perry didn’t effect the ratings for RIVERDALE, which remained at 0.3.  ALL AMERICAN was steady at 0.2.

NBC:  Reruns at 0.6 across the board.

Tonight is heavy on returns, including NBC’s SUPERSTORE and AP BIO, as well as ABC’s STATION 19 and FOR THE PEOPLE.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
