SHOWBUZZDAILY WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 8.15.2018

The arrival of a Wednesday AMERICA’S GOT TALENT livened things up a bit.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

CBS:  BIG BROTHER held at 1.6, followed by reruns at 0.4/0.4.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was right behind CBS at 1.5, then WORLD OF DANCE, shifted to 9PM, was steady at 1.1.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF slipped 0.1 to 0.9, and the season finale of 24 HOURS TO HELL & BACK was up 0.1 to 1.0.

CW:  BURDEN OF TRUTH gained 0.1 to 0.2, the same as the SUPERGIRL rerun that followed.

ABC:  Reruns at 0.4-0.6.

FOX airs an unusual midweek NASCAR race in primetime tonight.  In addition, another run of local preemptions for NFL Preseason games will lead to adjustments.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top cable programs from this day.
