Another unhappy night for network TV.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

FOX:  After SHOTS FIRED dropped 0.1 to 0.9, EMPIRE fell 0.2 to a new series low 2.2.

ABC:  THE GOLDBERGS dropped 0.2 to 1.5, and SPEECHLESS was down 0.1 to 1.3.  MODERN FAMILY fell 0.3 to a new series low 1.8, and BLACK-ISH was down 0.2 to 1.3.  DESIGNATED SURVIVOR was steady at 1.1.

NBC:  BLINDSPOT (0.9) and SVU (1.1) stayed where they were, and CHICAGO PD resisted the tide by rising 0.1 to 1.3.

CBS:  SURVIVOR lost 0.1 to 1.7, CRIMINAL MINDS remained at 1.2, and CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS was down 0.1 to 0.8. 

CW:  Reruns, all at 0.3.

Tonight, the already-renewed COLONY ends its 2d season on USA.

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
