THE SKED’S WEDNESDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 7/31/13

As its scandal fades, some viewers may be departing Big Brother.

Daily Comparison 2013 Wed Jul 31 3 way

CBS:  After the all-publicity-is-good-publicity rise that BIG BROTHER got from widespread media attention to the horrifically bigoted remarks of some of its participants, the spotlight has gotten dimmer, and perhaps as a consequence, last night’s episode was down 0.3 from last week to 2.0.  (That’s still even with the parallel night last year.)  The rest of the night was reruns, highlighted by CSI‘s 1.2.

NBC:  AMERICA’S GOT TALENT was down 0.1 to 2.3, still the highest rated show of the night.  At the moment, CAMP is up 0.2 from last week to 1.2, which would tie CBS for the hourly lead, but since the show began at 10:01PM, there’s a good chance it’ll come down a tick (as it did last week) when final numbers are released this afternoon.

FOX:  MASTERCHEF was slightly down at 2.2.

ABC:  THE LOOKOUT was up 0.1 to 0.9, only enough to tie the night’s MODERN FAMILY rerun.

CW:  Reruns, at 0.3/0.2.

CW airs the YOUNG HOLLYWOOD AWARDS tonight, otherwise it’s the usual Thursday line-ups, with all new programming on ABC, nothing but reruns on FOX, and the other networks in between.
