ABC enjoys the onset of March.
ABC: The Alphabet Network won every timeslot last night, with both LAST MAN STANDING and MALIBU COUNTRY up a robust 0.3 (to 1.6 and 1.4, respectively), even though the only rerun they faced was on CBS. SHARK TANK was the highest-rated show of the night with 1.9, and 20/20 was up slightly to 1.5.
FOX: The night’s shows were also up, although at a lower level, as KITCHEN NIGHTMARES rose 0.2 to 1.3 and TOUCH gained a tick to 0.8. (Reports that pilots are being offered to Kiefer Sutherland, though, tell you where that show is likely headed.)
NBC: The network’s last all-news Friday (Grimm returns next week) was steady, with DATELINE down slightly to 1.3 and ROCK CENTER even at 1.0.
CBS: An evening of reruns was highlighted by 1.1 for UNDERCOVER BOSS, then back-to-back BLUE BLOODS were at 0.8/1.0.
CW: NIKITA continued its plodding pace, even at 0.3, and was followed by a VAMPIRE DIARIES rerun at 0.2.
Tonight is a typically dull Saturday schedule, all reruns and dross (plus a new SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with host Kevin Hart and musical guests Macklemore and Ryan Lewis), but Sunday will be quite busy on the networks, with a 2-hour premiere of RED WIDOW on ABC and the return of CELEBRITY APPRENTICE on NBC. Cable features the season finale of ENLIGHTENED on HBO, and two premieres on History Channel: THE BIBLE miniseries, and THE VIKINGS, which is the network’s first continuing scripted series.

Embattled ABC fared the best on a slow night. ABC: LAST MAN STANDING was down 0.2 from last week to 1.2, but things improved after that, as THE NEIGHBORS held at 0.9, SHARK TANK was easily the highest rated show of the night on any network, steady at 2.0,…

A good night for Tom Selleck fans, and not much more. CBS: BLUE BLOODS was the highest rated show of the night, up 0.3 to 1.7. However, it’s not clear at this point how much local preemptions for basketball championships affected Friday’s numbers. Earlier in the evening, reruns of UNDERCOVER…

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 2/22/13
The last Friday of February sweeps was dull for every network. CBS: After the failure of The Job, CBS rushed UNDERCOVER BOSS back into its 8PM slot, and although Boss outperformed the deceased show, its 1.5 was 0.4 lower than the last time it aired 3 weeks ago (still enough to…

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11/30/12
Good news for ABC’s sitcoms. ABC: LAST MAN STANDING and MALIBU COUNTRY, newly gifted with 5-episode backorders, justified their continued life by rising to 1.6/1.5, a tick or two up from recent weeks. A rerun SHARK TANK and a new 20/20 won their hours with 1.6 and 1.7, respectively. CBS: …
