ABC’s Friday makes its season debut.
ABC: SHARK TANK, PRIMETIME and 20/20 all arrived for the new season with great consistency: 1.7/1.7/1.8. That was enough to win every hour (and the night), although none too impressively considering that they were facing reruns in almost every direction.
FOX: What turned out to be a burned-off “bonus” episode of last year’s TOUCH made no ripple with 0.7, even with the BONES rerun that followed.
NBC: 8-10pm reruns, paced by the 1.0s for GO ON and GUYS WITH KIDS, then 0.9 for DATELINE.
CBS: Matching 0.7s for a trio of reruns.
CW: By this network’s standards, a 0.7 for AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL is something to crow about.
Tonight is all about college football in primetime, and then in late night, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE arrives with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean (but without Kristen Wiig or Andy Samberg).
