Projected weekly network ratings in prime time (based on four days of official nationals and three days of fast nationals).  NBC will win the week ending Sunday with a 1.42 adult 18-49 rating in prime time, identical to last week’s rating and only 4% below the same week last year.  Although The Voice is getting weaker with each episode, it remains about the only thing to watch on network TV, providing enough for NBC to win the week.  As The Voice gives way to America’s Got Talent, NBC should have enough in the tank to win most weeks this summer.

Adult 18-49 Prime Time Rating
THIS WEEK Same Week Last Year Last Week
May 27-June 2, 2013 May 14-20, 2012 % chg May 20-26, 2013 % chg
NBC 1.42 1.48 -4% 1.42 0%
FOX 1.29 1.20 +8% 1.45 -11%
ABC 1.05 1.30 -19% 1.42 -26%
CBS 0.99 1.10 -10% 1.21 -18%
4-net 4.75 5.08 -6% 7.36 -1.6%

ABC and CBS have very long summers ahead, with both averaging around a 1 rating for the first full week of summer, down high-double digits from last week and the same week last year.

Next week, we will start tracking the summer to date. That should be lovely.
