Not a lot of support for scripted programming.
ABC: The Alphabet took the night, winning each hour with its unscripted trio of SHARK TANK (2.0, the highest rated show of the night), PRIMETIME (1.6) and 20/20 (1.4).
CBS: Some of last week’s bump from the elimination of Made In Jersey dissipated, and after a 0.8 rerun, CSI NY and BLUE BLOODS were both down from 1.4, to 1.2 and 1.3, respectively.
NBC: GRIMM was down too, from 1.6 to 1.4 (also after a 0.8 rerun), and then DATELINE was even at 1.3.
FOX: The preliminary 1.7 for the NLCS BASEBALL PLAYOFFS will go up somewhat in final numbers, thanks to San Francisco’s participation (and win).
CW: One hopes the overseas revenue from NIKITA is making this season worthwhile, since its season premiere at 0.3 was downright awful. AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was up slightly to 0.6.
Tonight’s primetime is all reruns and college football, and in late night, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE features host/musical guest Bruno Mars. Also, HBO debuts its Hitchcock drama THE GIRL. The San Francisco win last night means that FOX’s animation schedule will be preempted tomorrow. The rest of the networks have new episodes of their regular schedules, and on cable, BBCAmerica airs the season finale of its (newly renewed) COPPER.

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 6/8/12
Not much to say about a night when the networks weren’t even trying. ABC: Winner of the night with a whopping 1.1 average. The high point was a 1.4 for 20/20 at 10PM. NBC: The only network to air anything new for the night, even if it was DATELINE. …

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 9/14/12
ABC’s Friday makes its season debut. ABC: SHARK TANK, PRIMETIME and 20/20 all arrived for the new season with great consistency: 1.7/1.7/1.8. That was enough to win every hour (and the night), although none too impressively considering that they were facing reruns in almost every direction. FOX: What turned out…
