CBS: Although the SUPER BOWL will always be a monster, its preliminary 27.9 was down about 10% from 2018’s 30.9, itself down 2.9 from 2017. (Last year’s game adjusted to 33.4 in final numbers.) The premiere of WORLD’S BEST had a preliminary 8.6, way down from the early 14.9 for last year’s big episode of THIS IS US, but much better than the 6.1 for 2017’s 24: LEGACY.
ABC: As usual, the other networks aired reruns rather than compete with the game. ABC’s were at 0.2-0.4.
NBC: Reruns at 0.2-0.3.
FOX: Reruns at 0.2-0.3.
CW: Reruns at 0.1/0.1.
MAN WITH A PLAN returns to CBS tonight.
