SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Thursday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 10.2.2014

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  ABC got its afternoon gift from Nielsen, as once again, every one of its shows gained in adjusted numbers, this time by 0.1 across the board.  The only other change was THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL settling into a 5.9, down 0.1 from last week’s game.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts Thursday (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL led the way on cable as well, as the NFL Network simulcast was on top with 1.23.  It narrowly edged out the primetime BASEBALL DIVISION PLAYOFFS on TBS at 1.22 (the earlier game was at 0.99).  ESPN’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL game was up four-tenths from last week to 1.05.  In the non-sports arena, BLACK JESUS (Adult Swim) again led the way, up 0.02 to 0.78, with the same network’s TIM & ERIC’S BEDTIME STORIES down 0.04 to 0.37.  PROJECT RUNWAY (Lifetime) was up 0.04 to 0.67.  PAWN STARS (History), at 0.65/0.58, was about a tenth lower than last week.  RIDICULOUSNESS (MTV) was up 0.02 to 0.45, and SNACK-OFF was up 0.02 to 0.24, with 461K total viewers.  HAVEN (Syfy) fell still lower, down 0.02 to 0.17.
