SHOWBUZZDAILY’s Top 25 Thursday Cable Originals (& Network Update): 10.23.2014

 

NETWORK UPDATE:  There were no changes from this morning’s numbers.  The CBS portion of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL adjusted to 5.3, up 1.2 from last week’s final network number.

Ratings in key demos for the Top 25 original cable telecasts (plus a few other lower-rated but noteworthy programs):

The NFL Network piece of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL was at 1.39, up 0.15 from last week.  PROJECT RUNWAY (Lifetime) rose 0.13 to 0.84, and it was followed by THREADS, which premiered at 0.34.  PAWN STARS (History) was at 0.65/0.53, almost exactly the same as last week’s episodes. RIDICULOUSNESS (MTV) rose 0.08 to 0.58, and SNACK-OFF was at 0.30.  Adult Swim’s NEWSREADERS was at 0.38, and TIM & ERIC’S BEDTIME STORIES increased 0.05 to 0.36.  IMPRACTICAL JOKERS (Tru) rose 0.03 to 0.51.  THE FIRST 48 (A&E) lost 0.11 to 0.46.  On ESPN, the night’s COLLEGE FOOTBALL game was at 0.38 (down 0.04), and the network’s new GRANTLAND BASKETBALL show premiered at 0.24–both of them below the 0.39 for the afternoon’s PARDON THE INTERRUPTION.
