The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament continues to lag prior years. Heading into the Final Four this weekend, March Madness is down -10% in total viewers 2+ across the four network partners and down -23% with men 18-34.
This past weekend (the Regional Finals and the end of the Elite Eight Round) should be approaching 15 million viewers and 6+ demo ratings with men 18-49. This year was barely above 10 million and well under a 5 demo rating.
