February begins with a night that can’t even find a single 2 rating.
CBS: UNDERCOVER BOSS had one of the two 1.9s of the night, steady with its last airing. BLUE BLOODS and CSI NY were both at 1.5, which was down slightly for the first and even for the second.
ABC: The other 1.9 was for SHARK TANK, down 0.1 from last time. 20/20 had a 1.5 at 10PM, enough to tie CBS for the lead in the hour. The night began with 1.3/1.1 for LAST MAN STANDING/MALIBU COUNTRY, even and then slightly down from their last airings.
NBC: The NAACP IMAGE AWARDS had the same 0.8 as in 2012, then DATELINE only reached 1.1 at 10PM.
FOX: KITCHEN NIGHTMARES took a hit, down 0.4 to 1.0. It was followed by a 0.7 for a rerun of last Monday’s episode of THE FOLLOWING.
CW: NIKITA declined 0.1 to 0.4, and the CARRIE DIARIES rerun that followed had a 0.3.
Everything is old tonight except for CBS’s airing of NFL HONORS, which of course is part of the prelude to tomorrow, when all eyes will be on New Orleans and CBS for TV’s biggest night of the year, THE SUPER BOWL, which CBS will follow with a special ELEMENTARY. The only networks willing to go up against the game with original programming are PBS (because it’s DOWNTON ABBEY) and HBO (because it’s HBO).
