A bad return for DYNASTY.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis follows the chart.
ABC: Returning from their NFL Draft break, SHARK TANK dropped 0.1 to 0.5, and 20/20 held at 0.4.
CBS: After a rerun of KIDS SAY THE DARNDEST THINGS at 0.3, the season finale of MAGNUM PI lost 0.1 to 0.4, and BLUE BLOODS stayed at 0.4.
NBC: THE BLACKLIST (0.3) and DATELINE (0.4) were steady.
FOX: WWE SMACKDOWN gained 0.1 to 0.6.
CW: CHARMED moved from Sundays to Friday and remained at 0.1, and the season premiere of DYNASTY was at an ignominious zero, although in fairness it didn’t have far to fall, since it premiered at 0.1 last season.
Tonight, ABC, CBS and FOX air the VAX LIVE concert special, while NBC sticks with SNL, hosted by Elon Musk and with musical guest Miley Cyrus.
Note: The fast affiliate-based ratings below measure what aired on network affiliates in 210 U.S. markets from 8-11 pm Eastern & Pacific or 7-10 pm Central & Mountain. The numbers are some combination of the network schedule and any pre-emptions (such as local news or weather coverage). Accurate program ratings will be available with the broadcast finals.
