DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
FOX: WORLD SERIES GAME 3 averaged a 2.5 adult 18-49 rating in the fast nationals, which undercount west coast viewing for live telecasts. In the official nationals when the time zones are properly adjusted, we estimate Game 3 will end up at a 2.9 adult 18-49 rating, just above the record low for Game 3 (a 2.8 rating in 2012 for San Francisco-Detroit). The final nationals for Friday night will be available Monday afternoon.
NBC: CONSTANTINE is looking as compatible with GRIMM as it seemed on paper, with the new series debuting just 0.1 below the Season 4 premiere of GRIMM. But the night as a whole is considerably down from last fall, 1.5/1.4 compared to 1.8/1.8 for last year’s GRIMM and DRACULA. DATELINE kicked off the evening at 1.1, down 0.1 from last week (which was a 9PM airing that ran 2 hours).
ABC: Similarly, LAST MAN STANDING and CRISTELA are still just 0.1 apart, but they’re at 1.1/1.0 this week compared to last week’s 1.3/1.2, not a sign of continued health. SHARK TANK lost 0.1 to 1.8, but 20/20 (no longer competing directly with DATELINE) rose 0.4 to 1.5.
CBS: THE AMAZING RACE fell 0.4 to 1.0, HAWAII 5-0 slipped 0.1 to 1.1, and BLUE BLOODS gained 0.1 to 1.3.
CW: A new episode of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL tied a JANE THE VIRGIN rerun, both shows at the same 0.3 as last Friday.
FOX is rooting hard for San Francisco in tonight’s WORLD SERIES GAME 4, since a win would mean at least a 6-game Series, critical for the network to have any hope of hitting profit on the games. Jim Carrey hosts SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. On Sunday, the major event is the series finale of HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE.
