Ratings were predictably up compared to last week’s Halloween Friday.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
NBC: GRIMM climbed 0.2 to 1.3, but CONSTANTINE is looking shaky even post-Halloween, up just 0.1 to a DRACULA-ish 1.0. The night started with DATELINE, up 0.1 to 1.4.
CBS: BLUE BLOODS, somewhat surprisingly, was the big gainer of the night, up 0.3 to 1.4. (Another possible sign of CONSTANTINE’s weakness.) Both THE AMAZING RACE and HAWAII 5-0 were up a more modest 0.1, to twin 1.2s.
ABC: CRISTELA is also failing to make much of a case for itself, only matching last week’s 1.0, even though lead-in LAST MAN STANDING was up 0.1 to 1.3. That’s the level that got THE NEIGHBORS canceled. SHARK TANK was down 0.1 to 1.9 (although it often rises in final numbers), and 20/20 gained 0.2 to 1.7.
FOX: Reruns at 0.6/0.4.
CW: After 0.5/0.4 for new/rerun WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY episodes, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was up 0.1 to 0.4.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL occupies 3 of the networks tonight (with reruns on NBC). Tomorrow night, all the broadcast networks air new episodes of their regular line-ups. HBO launches new seasons of THE NEWSROOM, THE COMEBACK and GOING ON, none of which have been particularly high-rated in the in the past (THE COMEBACK, in fact, lived up to its own title by being canceled and then returned to the air).
