A few Thursday footnotes before the dreary Friday numbers. NBC, with a 1.1 primetime average, not only tied its all-time in-season low for a Thursday without reruns, it was in 7th place among all networks, behind not just ABC, CBS, FOX and Univision, but also NFL Network and TBS (and it tied the 8PM hour with CW–luckily for NBC, CW aired a rerun at 9PM). Quarter-hour numbers for THE MILLERS (which fell to 3.0 in afternoon adjustments) showed what a time period hit it is, dropping half a ratings point between 8:30PM and 8:45PM. THE CRAZY ONES slipped 0.2 from 9PM to 9:15PM. The one positive ABC can take from the premiere of ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND is that it remained steady throughout the hour, so those who tuned in liked what they saw.
On to Friday:
ABC: Everything was down: LAST MAN STANDING by 0.2 to 1.2 (putting it in 3rd place in the timeslot, only ahead of reruns), THE NEIGHBORS by 0.1 to a new low 0.9, SHARK TANK by 0.2 to 1.7 (still enough to win its hour), and 20/20 by a big 0.5 to 1.1.
CBS: UNDERCOVER BOSS and HAWAII 5-0 both slipped 0.1, to 1.3 and 1.4 respectively, while BLUE BLOODS held at 1.4, winning its hour.
FOX: MASTERCHEF JR won its hour, up 0.1 to 1.4, and was followed by a SLEEPY HOLLOW rerun at 0.7.
NBC: After 0.6 for a pair of sitcom reruns, DATELINE was down 0.2 to 1.1.
CW: Following 0.3 for a rerun of THE TOMORROW PEOPLE pilot, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL was even at 0.4.
Tonight’s primetime features the usual Saturday mix of reruns and sports, with NASCAR on ABC and baseball playoffs on FOX. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is hosted by Bruce Willis, with Katy Perry as musical guest. Sunday’s big arrival is the season premiere of THE WALKING DEAD on AMC.

THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 10/18/13
Whatever Undercover Boss did last night, it should do that again. CBS: On a mostly quiet network night, UNDERCOVER BOSS zoomed by half a ratings point to 1.8–not quite the biggest show of the evening, but close. The rest of the line-up didn’t fare as well, as both HAWAII…

THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 10/4/13
ABC: LAST MAN STANDING rose 0.2 from last week to 1.4, enough to tie it for 1st place in the timeslot on a sleepy Friday night. But THE NEIGHBORS is probably just playing out its string, with no bump from last week’s 1.0. SHARK TANK was down 0.2 to…

THE SKED NETWORK SCORECARD – 9/20/13
Friday wasn’t a friendly neighborhood for ABC’s new arrival. ABC: THE NEIGHBORS arrived on Fridays with a 1.2 thud, down from all its Wednesday numbers and also down 0.3 from its LAST MAN STANDING lead-in. Not that Last Man had anything to feel good about, since its 1.5 was…

THE SKED FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD
Embattled ABC fared the best on a slow night. ABC: LAST MAN STANDING was down 0.2 from last week to 1.2, but things improved after that, as THE NEIGHBORS held at 0.9, SHARK TANK was easily the highest rated show of the night on any network, steady at 2.0,…
