NBC: The network’s numbers were up, but still nothing to boast about. (And are shaky to boot, thanks to a baseball preemption in San Francisco.) DATELINE climbed 0.2 to 1.2, and CROSSBONES is currently up 0.2 to a still-dreadful 0.6.
ABC: ABC was the only network to air non-fireworks original programming on July 4th, so its week-to-week results are extremely skewed. After 0.9 for a SHARK TANK rerun, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? was up 0.3 to 0.9 (but down 0.3 from 2 weeks ago), and 20/20 was up 0.4 to 1.2 (but down 0.1 from 2 weeks ago).
CBS: Reruns, topped by 0.8 for BLUE BLOODS.
FOX: Reruns, led by 0.6 for MASTERCHEF.
CW: Reruns, highlighted by 0.4 for the 8PM WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY.
CBS continues burning off BAD TEACHER tonight, amidst the reruns and cheap reality programming. Tomorrow, CBS does a quick timeslot switcheroo with UNFORGETTABLE and RECKLESS, putting the former show in the 9PM slow since it’s been performing marginally better than the newcomer. RISING STAR airs for the first time without special competition from NBC (now that it’s too late). On cable, FX introduces its vampire thriller THE STRAIN, and Showtime has the season premieres of MASTERS OF SEX and RAY DONOVAN.
