SHOWBUZZFAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 10.7.2018

 

A dismal start for the new ABC line-up.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.

ABC:  After AMERICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS lost 0.1 to 0.7, DANCING WITH THE STARS JR debuted at 0.7.  That was followed by a series low season premiere for SHARK TANK at 0.6.

CBS:  Without the late national NFL game, 60 MINUTES toppled to 0.8, and GOD FRIENDED ME fell 0.4 to 0.9.  NCIS: LA dropped 0.3 to 0.8, and MADAM SECRETARY had a 0.6 season premiere, down 0.2 from 2017. 

FOX:  The late national game pushed THE SIMPSONS up 0.4 to 1.8, and BOB’S BURGERS was up 0.1 to 1.2.  FAMILY GUY held at 1.2, and REL dropped 0.1 to 0.8. 

NBC:  The preliminary SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL rating was 5.6, up 0.1 from last week.

CW:  The network made a soft re-entry to original Sunday programming with the first part of its latest IHEARTRADIO MUSIC FESTIVALspecial at 0.2.

Tonight, AMC has season finales for BETTER CALL SAUL and the just-renewed LODGE 49. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 live+same day ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.

CABLE RATINGS: Come back this afternoon for detailed demographic ratings for top Friday cable programs. Saturday & Sunday cable ratings will be posted Tuesday morning.
