SHOWBUZZDAILY THURSDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1.2.2020

So-so results for FOX’s arrivals.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary live+same day key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

Ratings analysis follows the chart.

FOX:  LAST MAN STANDING returned at 0.9.  The show had already been in decline, and it was down a big 0.9 from the September 2018 premiere, but up 0.1 from the May 2019 finale.  DEPUTY launched with a mediocre 0.7.  (Note:  there are reports of “fast official” FOX ratings raising its night’s shows to 1.0/0.8.  We’ll confirm those this afternoon if accurate.)

ABC:  The special WHAT IS JEAPORDY? was at 0.9.  The season finale of THE GREAT AMERICAN BAKING SHOW gained 0.1 to 0.6.

NBC:  After SUPERSTORE reruns at 0.4/0.3, the special PALEY CENTER SALUTES LAW & ORDER: SVU was at 0.3, followed by an SVU rerun at 0.3.

CBS:  Reruns at 0.2-0.5.

CW:  Reruns at 0.1/0.1.

Tonight, CBS joins the 2020 fray with new episodes of its regular line-up.
