WAYWARD PINES exited on a high.
DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).
Ratings analysis and comparisons follow the chart.
FOX: The night started with BOOM falling 0.1 to 0.6, but that didn’t hurt the season/series finale (take your pick) of WAYWARD PINES, which gained 0.3 to tie its 1.2 series high.
ABC: ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB dropped 0.3 to 0.6, and MISTRESSES fell 0.2 to 0.7. ROOKIE BLUE, though, gained 0.1 to 0.8.
CBS: BIG BROTHER easily won the night, even though it was down 0.2 to 1.8. UNDER THE DOME rose 0.1 to 1.0.
NBC: FOOD FIGHTERS lost 0.1 to 0.8, and DATELINE stayed at 1.0.
CW: BEAUTY AND THE BEAST dropped 0.1 to 0.2, and DATES, which had little room to fall, maintained its dismal 0.1 in both half-hours.
The networks air their desultory Friday line-ups of reruns and newsmagazines tonight. The closest thing to an event is the final episode of the defunct THE MESSENGERS on CW.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
