CW:  After last week’s ratings excitement, RIVERDALE dropped 0.2 to 0.6–still a strong number, but not the revolutionary change in status promised by the season premiere.  DYNASTY held at 0.3.

CBS:  SURVIVOR was steady at 1.7, but SEAL TEAM followed its back-order with a 0.2 drop to a new low 1.0.  CRIMINAL MINDS held at 1.1.

FOX:  EMPIRE fell 0.2 to a series low 1.8, and STAR was down 0.2 to 1.3.

NBC:  THE BLACKLIST lost 0.1 to 0.9, SVU remained at 1.2, and CHICAGO PD was down 0.1 to 1.1.

ABC:  THE GOLDBERGS was off by 0.1 to 1.4, SPEECHLESS stayed at 1.1, MODERN FAMILY shed 0.1 to 1.7, and AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE was steady at 1.4.  DESIGNATED SURVIVOR finished the night down 0.1 to 0.8.

GREY’S ANATOMY is preempted tonight for reruns of seasonal family specials:  IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN and TOY STORY OF TERROR. 


COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
