A good night for some grizzled vets.
CBS: After UNDERCOVER BOSS started the night with a 1.8 to win 8PM, CSI NY and BLUE BLOODS both hit season high 1.6s (the latter also winning its hour). The whole line-up was up 0.2-0.3 from last week.
ABC: Everything here was up as well, with LAST MAN STANDING increasing a tick to 1.5, MALIBU COUNTRY up 0.2 to 1.4, SHARK TANK also up 0.2 to 2.0 (winning 9PM), and 20/20 up slightly to 1.5.
FOX: It wasn’t too late in the game for another terrible number from FRINGE, which fell 0.2 from its last episode to a sad 0.8 for its penultimate outing. The night started with a rerun KITCHEN NIGHTMARES, which did a 1.0
NBC: A pair of 1600 PENN reruns did 0.8/0.9, then a 2-hour DATELINE was down 0.1 to 1.4.
CW: Reruns at 0.3.
FOX is going to own tonight, thanks to its coverage of the Green Bay/San Francisco NFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF GAME. ABC will wanly counterprogram with what’s left of the MISS AMERICA PAGEANT. Tomorrow night proves that the days when networks steered clear of the GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS are over, with every network fielding new episodes against the telecast. In fact, HBO and Showtime are using the night to launch their winter line-ups, and GIRLS, in particular, will be competing with its own potential awards on NBC.

Embattled ABC fared the best on a slow night. ABC: LAST MAN STANDING was down 0.2 from last week to 1.2, but things improved after that, as THE NEIGHBORS held at 0.9, SHARK TANK was easily the highest rated show of the night on any network, steady at 2.0,…

You can’t go wrong with football. FOX: Most of the major college bowl games have migrated to ESPN, but the COTTON BOWL remains on broadcast (for now), and gave FOX an easy win for the night, with a preliminary 3.1 rating in 18-49s that’s solidly higher than last year’s 2.5…

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 11/30/12
Good news for ABC’s sitcoms. ABC: LAST MAN STANDING and MALIBU COUNTRY, newly gifted with 5-episode backorders, justified their continued life by rising to 1.6/1.5, a tick or two up from recent weeks. A rerun SHARK TANK and a new 20/20 won their hours with 1.6 and 1.7, respectively. CBS: …

THE SKED’S FRIDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 1/18/13
Fringe moves on to another universe. FOX: After years of lousy ratings, it would have been unrealistic to expect FRINGE to suddenly grow an audience at the last minute, and it didn’t: the two-hour finale had a 1.0, which was up 0.2 from last week, but barely managed to beat…
