SHOWBUZZDAILY SUNDAY NETWORK SCORECARD – 6.3.2018

 

This year’s NBA FINALS continue to score a bit lower than last year’s.

DEMOGRAPHIC DETAIL: For each broadcast program (or hour segment), the chart below displays preliminary key advertiser demographics (adult 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 ratings), audience skews (women 18-49, men 18-49 and adults 50+ shares) and total viewership (thousands of people over the age of 2).

ABC:  Game 2 of the NBA FINALS had a preliminary 5.2, down half a point from 2017’s Game 2 preliminary (which adjusted up 1.4 in finals), but up 0.1 from Thursday’s early number.

CBS:  60 MINUTES gained 0.1 to 0.6, and INSTINCT was at 0.5, higher than last week’s back-to-back 0.4/0.3. Reruns at 0.3/0.3 followed.

NBC:  After DATELINE rose 0.3 to 0.5, a corporate pre-sequel tie-in airing of JURASSIC WORLD was at 0.9.

FOX:  Reruns at 0.2-0.4.

AMC gives the event treatment to DIETLAND tonight, including a 2-hour premiere, simulcasts on Sundance and We, and an after-show.  In addition, Freeform’s THE FOSTERS begins its final 3-episode mini-season, setting up the forthcoming spin-off. 

COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
