ABC: The BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS climbed 0.2 from last season to 3.7, decimating everything else on network TV. The night started with AMERIdCA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, steady at 1.4.
FOX: The night started with a rerun THE SIMPSONS at 0.6, and a BOB’S BURGERS episode at 0.9. Then the season finales began: THE SIMPSONS at 1.2 (steady with last week, but down 0.4 from last season’s finale), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE at 1.1 (down 0.2 from both last week and last season’s Tuesday night season finale), FAMILY GUY at 1.3 (down 0.3 from its last new episode 2 weeks ago, and down an ugly 0.7 from last season’s finale), and BOB’S BURGERS at 1.1 (down 0.1 from last week and up 0.2 from last season’s finale, which ran at 7PM).
NBC: After a 2-hour DATELINE rerun at 1.0, AD: THE BIBLE CONTINUES fell 0.1 to a series low 0.8, and AMERICAN ODYSSEY also fell 0.1 to a series low, in its case to 0.4.
CBS: The night led off with 60 MINUTES down 0.1 to 1.0. An I LOVE LUCY archives special was at 0.9. 2 hours of BATTLE CREEK were both at 0.6.
The finales continue tonight, with 2 BROKE GIRLS, MIKE & MOLLY, STALKER and NCIS: LA on CBS, THE NIGHT SHIFT on NBC and THE FOLLOWING on FOX. In addition, THE BACHELORETTE starts its summer season on ABC.
COMPARISONS TO SIMILAR NIGHTS: Preliminary adult 18-49 ratings versus the same night last year and same night last week.
