>NBC has given Grimm 205 promo seconds over the last week, a level that will be maintained or even increased throughout this week, leading up to the Friday launch.  NBC has to be encouraged by the 3.9 rating for the premiere of Once Upon a Time on ABC, although the Friday at 9 time period for Grimm has to temper expectations.  Rock Center with Brian Williams (the replacement for Playboy Club Mondays at 10) is up to 75 seconds of time over the past week, now the #2 priority for the network.

Last night inside Once Upon a Time ABC mostly promoted the shows later on Sunday night (Desperate Housewives and Pan Am), as well as the Halloween theme night on their Wednesday comedy block.  No single priority is emerging in the rankings below — it will take a few days to work the heavy Once Upon a Time and Man Up! promotion out of the averages.

Last night in the World Series, FOX gave a full 60-second promo to American Idol‘s return on January 22.  Heavy on the cheese factor, I’m sure the promo was quite effective nevertheless with fans of that show.

To make the chart easier to read at a glance, there is now a “Cliffs Notes” version below that just lists the top four priorities for each network, making it easier to compare each network to the other.  For greater detail, the chart at the bottom lists all shows each network has promoted in the last week in case you are interested in finding a particular series.
