The Sked: PROMO WATCH — Update through Monday October 10

>ShowBuzzDaily’s PROMO WATCH shows that ABC’s Last Man Standing is the top priority over this new sample period, not surprising given that it premieres tonight.  Once Upon a Time is also getting its due as we head toward its Sunday, October 23 debut.

CBS has the longest list of promoted shows, as The Eye continues to dole out lots of short, 10-second promos.  The biggest push so far is to support freshman show Unforgettable.

At NBC, Parenthood is narrowly in the lead of priorities.  The promoted episodes features a significant “life event” (in this case a birth) that viewers almost always respond to.  Other major life events that often move the needle are weddings and deaths.

FOX continues to get behind the return of Bones, which also features a pregnant lead character.

These priority rankings will continue to be updated daily this week.
